12/14/2023Product Top Thrill - Blue/GreenBy Jason HughesFrom Holly, MIAbout Me Varsity & JV Coach, League Bowler, 190 avgExactly what I was looking for!
It is important to remember that these aren't "beginner" balls per-se... Yes, you could pick one up and put a pin above bridge layout on it and it would work, BUT they can be purpose fitted for specific conditions or shots. I bowl at a center that has older wooden lanes on the second shift so the lanes are pretty worked over and responsive by the time my league starts. It is extremely difficult to use anything above my benchmark ball in my arsenal in these conditions (they either over-react or read way too early and die off before getting to the backs). I needed something that would allow me to play closer to that up-ten shot in these conditions. I visited my pro and talked to him about it, we laid out the ball and this ball does exactly what I expected. It can react in the dry if I get into it a little early, but the pearl cover gets me through the other players lines to the clean on the back without a big reaction early on the lane and a moderate backend reaction so that it doesn't overact once it catches the back ends. Definitely a good ball to have in the bag if your center has soft lanes or you tend to bowl on dry conditions.

10/19/2023Product Top Thrill - Blue/GreenBy James de la CruzFrom Phoenix,AZAbout Me Lefty bowler, multiple leagues at different centers and tournament bowler.Summer shot game saver
I was going to pass on this ball, but I decided to get it. The house I was bowling at used to put out less volume on their house shot for the summer, which makes a whole lot of sense in the desert. The Top Thrill Pearl was exactly what I needed. It gives me the length without stand up too sharply down lane. If you're bowling on the burn or high friction lanes you need this ball.

Great ball for drier lanes. A must have for travel tournaments in smaller houses. Very predictable and consistent action

03/04/2023Product Top Thrill - Blue/GreenBy Gary RiskoFrom Lilly, PAGreat ball!! Great value!!
This ball is amazing. I bowl on wood alleys with light to medium oil. This ball is very clean through the heads and still has enough to make the corner and carry the 10 pin. I bought my fiancé one after throwing it for a few weeks. Her average came up ten pins.
