03/21/2023Product Freestyle RushBy Dan PoteetFrom Severn, MDStill rolling this rock all these years later
I wanted to give a review on this piece even though it's long since retired. I take this ball with me to my Tuesday night league at an older house with wooden lanes and tons of friction. This ball consistently gives me a good look when everything else reads too early or hooks too much. Seems like any ball Motiv makes in red/white/blue is a winner for me because the Trident Odyssey was money as well.

Having so much problem with dry lanes. I decided to buy me another Motiv because I love my other Motiv. Got this one. It works great. Shot 4 700 series in a row when I got this ball. Dry lanes are the best for me. My ball speed is 18mph

Hand: Left
PAP: 5 over 3/16 up
Rev Rate: 375-400
Ball Speed 16.5-17.5
Layout: 85x0x45
I always like to have this kind out layout on a weaker piece of equipment in my bag. Urethane tends to roll too early for my liking so having this really suits the motion I like to see. I truly enjoy this layout for when the lanes get pretty torched or when bowling on higher friction surfaces. With putting this layout on a weaker ball it allows me to stay dead in the friction without the ball reading the fronts too much (like urethane would) and still having a nice smooth controllable backend. However one thing with the rush that I don't normally get with this layout/cover combo is continuation. On the Freestyle rush I am able to get quite a bit of continuation and get to have the ball roll through the pins with pure power. This ball will go me with to every tournament. Cheers to some high scores!I would recommend this to a friend

This ball gets throught the heads cleanly, stores energy, and unleashes a strong back end without over reacting.
