Introducing the ferocious Overload Core, a dynamic asymmetrical marvel engineered to fill a strategic gap in the Motiv Bowling arsenal. Nestled between the formidable Predator V2 core of the Jackal series and the dominant Dominion core found in the Pride lineup, the Overload core hits the sweet spot tailored for the challenges of medium-heavy oil conditions. 

What makes this core so special is that it boasts the ability to change the differential with drilling by up to 25%, while also offering drilling options that will lower the differential. No previous MOTIV core could lower the differential of a drilled ball.  While many bowlers look for the most differential possible when drilling a ball, rev dominant bowlers are usually limited by the increased diff of drilled balls. As an upper-mid core that must be versatile, the Overload core is the perfect option for offering so much versatility. 

Paired with the Overload core is the new Leverage MXC Solid Reactive coverstock. This cutting-edge shell blends the renowned Leverage coverstock technology from the Black Venom with the aggressive components of the Forge Flare. This combination ensures superior traction in even the most challenging high-oil environments.

WHEN TO USE:

  • Speed Dominant Bowlers - Speed dominant bowlers need traction on the lane to repeat with confidence.  However, there had previously been a large gap between the Jackal Ambush and the Pride Dynasty when trying to stay in slow response asymmetrical balls.  The Evoke is the perfect bridge between these two balls and a critical part of the progression for a speed dominant bowler.
  • Balanced Bowlers - Balanced bowlers will use the Evoke as a first ball out of the bag on lower friction lane surfaces.  With a coverstock that is easier through the front than a Jackal Ambush, but with a more substantial footprint on the lane than the balls in the line created for medium oil, the Evoke is a great benchmark for bowlers on higher concentrations of oil or on lower friction synthetic lane surfaces.
  • Rev Dominant Bowlers - A rev dominant bowler can use the Evoke as their heavy oil control ball without any need for more traction or control.  The Motiv Evoke will easily serve as a rev dominant player’s strongest asymmetrical ball in the bag and give them the traction and smooth response to friction needed on challenging or heavy oil conditions.

    New ball, New Core!

    Originally I was going to pass on the Evoke. Didn't really need another mid lane ball in the arsenal. But, glad I received it anyway! This new Overload core is great! Being able to shift the RG with a different drilling is absolutely the greatest thing! Putting mine at 50 x 5 x 35 and bringing the Leverage MXC solid cover to a 3000 grit finish, this ball is Next Level! I can literally throw it anywhere on the lane with the right amount of hand, and it will get the job done, just the way I want it to! Huge Kudos to the creator of this one! Keep it up! This is Definitely Benchmark material, and a Definite Need in Everyone's bag!
    If you are trying to decide whether or not to get this ball, listen to me very carefully and quietly.......GET IT!

    The perfect asymmetric solid for Motiv's lineup!

    I drilled 2 of these for 2-handed with the 2LS layout system: 5 1/2 x 4 x 3 1/2 (benchmark) and another 2 x 6 x 5 (short pin). The new Evoke is nothing but amazing! I bowled league with the benchmark layout and was surprised that I was able to throw it all 3 games. It's pretty strong in the midlane and has plenty of backend. Once you get some lane shine on it, the ball is absolute money for those league conditions! The Overload core does its due diligence and the Leverage MXC cover is a perfect match for the cover/core combo.

    The short pin is nice for super high friction houses, it doesn't lose energy on the backend! Really love this ball! Excited to try more surface changes on each layout as well during tournament play to test the versatility. Definitely recommend this ball for anyone's bag, especially for those beachy vibes! ;)

    The game has changed once again. The new Evoke with the Overload Asym core provided versatility when it comes to layouts. Up to 25% in layout options. Drill it with a Differential of 60 or 45 depending on the motion that fits your game. Wrapped with the Leverage MXC cover this ball has a smooth motion with great action through the pins. The cover also contains Motiv's Duramax technology which helps the cover resist lane shine.
    The EVOKE will be a staple in any league and tournament bag.
    High speed bowlers will see more traction in the midlane and a smooth motion downlane
    Rev dominant will have a great ball when looking to move left or control the backend
    If you're looking for a ball to blend the lane on your house shot when nothing else seems to work, look no further than the new EVOKE
