Designed for lighter oil conditions, the Thrill™ provides length and control when lanes are dry and friction is high.  

Featuring the new Flux™ weight block, the Thrill™ has a higher RG to delay ball reaction and create the length needed on light oil patterns.  It also has a very low differential to minimize track flare and provide ball motion control at the backend of the lane. 

The new Agility XP (Striking Precision) Reactive cover stock on the Thrill™ complements the performance attributes of the Flux™ weight block making it ideal for dry lanes.  Both the Wine/Magenta Pearl and the Blue/Purple Pearl Thrill balls feature a 5500 Grit LSP surface finish.  

The Thrill is available at an incredibly attractive price point, but it’s not just a great option for bowlers buying their first ball.  We’ve been very intentional about designing a piece that higher rev competitive bowlers will appreciate because it pushes further down the lane before making a move on dry lanes.

    This ball is the newest introduction into the MOTIV line made for lighter oil conditions. The MOTIV Thrill features the new Agility XP (Striking Precision) reactive pearl cover stock combined with the new Flux core. It has a higher RG to delay ball reaction and create length needed on light oil patterns. It's very clean through the lane, therefore it retains energy and makes a strong move on the backend. It has very low differential to minimize track flare and provide ball motion control at the back end of the lane and, as usual, has the great continuation that MOTIV balls have become known for.

    It will be a great fit in your bag on light oil. The Thrill will be the ball you can count on when the lanes are hooking and nothing else will go down the lane. This ball will give you much more length and control than any other ball you will find at this very affordable price.

    My Thrill is laid out with the pin up (above the ring), the cg slightly shifted right and no extra hole. This ball has already found a place in my bag; it's a great go to ball when the lanes are hooking. The ball is very useful on short oil patterns, on lanes with burned up heads, and on older surfaces. If you need a ball at a great price point for short patterns or hooking lanes this is the ball you are looking for.

    The Thrill is Motiv’s new entry level/light oil condition ball. It features the brand new Flux weight block and uses the Agility XP Reactive cover. It comes in both Magenta/Wine and Blue/Purple. I drilled up a Magenta/Wine Thrill pin up at box finish, and a Blue/Purple pin down at 2000 grit.

    The first thing I noticed was how clean this ball gets through the heads. For me, the VSP has been my go to ball when the lanes dry up and I need something to get down the lane. The Thrill is much cleaner but does not sacrifice down lane motion or hitting power. On a burned up house shot, I moved about 4 and 1 right with the Magenta/Wine, and about 2 and 1 out with the Blue/Purple off my VSP line.

    My comfort zone is in the track and up the boards. The Thrill allows me to stay in that zone when everything else in my bag checks up too soon. At this price point, I feel it’s the best bang for your buck on the market. Bowlers looking for their first ball that they can grow into, or those looking for a ball where you can play on the burn.

    I drilled my Thrill pin over bridge with the cg tucked under the ring finger. I was expecting this ball to go 60 ft. What I actually got was a long continuous motion that didn't sacrifice carry. The Thrill will be great on short or burnt lanes.

    Thrilling

    The red thrill was definitely weaker and longer down the lane than my blue thrill.
    But with the surface differences, I was expecting that. What I wasn't expecting was the overall amount of hook this ball offered.
    This cover on these thrills must be pretty strong because they can flat out hook. Follow me on facebook and watch the new release go down the lane each week.
