04/30/2024Product Top Thrill SolidBy Michael CurtisFrom Downers Grove, ILAbout Me League bowler, 2 perfect games, 792 highest seriesTop Thrill Solid is phenomenal
After starting in a league this year after 6yrs away, I decided to look for a new (used) ball since my Brunswick Python was 14yrs old.
I looked around and found Motiv and loved their ball guide and used it and the retired balls to help me pick a good one.
I also found someone on eBay & Facebook selling about 30 of their 15lb Motiv balls so I bought a few. Thankfully he brought some of them to the house he was rolling at and I was able to test them out and the drill pattern was very similar to my own (bonus!).
I picked the Venom Shock, Fatal Venom, Supra Enzo to start. I was having some issues keeping the Venom Shock and Fatal in the pocket, same for the Enzo. I swapped the Enzo for the Pride and also picked up the Top Thrill Solid at the seller's recommendation.
Well, even though I was reluctant to use the Top Thrill Solid, it turns out to be the best ball for me.
I'm about 400rpms, 4 step approach from the 12.5' mark and around the 30th board. My line out to the right varies on my release and I do not use an arrow for alignment, I just bowl on feel.
5 weeks ago I settled on the Top Thrill after trying the others throughout the night - bad idea!. Since committing to the Top Thrill Solid, I've bowled - 602; 646; 696, 744; 691.
For context, I used to bowl around 210 years 6+ yrs ago and this year I injured my right arm just after the season start. Decided to try 2H bowling for about 3 months while I recovered and maintained a 190avg throughout the year.
I wish I found the Top Thrill Solid sooner. Perfectly matched ball for me.I would recommend this to a friend

04/11/2024Product Top Thrill SolidBy Delan DeBlieckFrom Kuna, IDBig hook, little price tag
This isn't a ball I use very often. I do, however, wish this ball was around when I first started bowling; I think it would have been a perfect start. It has a good shape, the out of box finish can really be played on anything, regardless of what the ball guide says. This one earns it 5 stars for not coming with the big cost and still providing big shape.
This would be an amazing ball for any beginner bowler with limited funds or just for a guy who wanted his own ball and doesn't bowl a lot. But, it won't be replacing anything in my current bag.I would recommend this to a friend

03/13/2024Product Top Thrill SolidBy C MitchellFrom Detroit, MichiganAbout Me Multiple League Bowler left-handed miss match Higher Rev vs SpeedJust what the doctor order
I just had my pro shop drill up a Top Thrill Solid today (3/12/24) for a center I bowl in that has high friction lanes. My Top Thrill Pearl (Blue & Green) was just too clean / over under. Where the Top Thrill Solid blended the condition on the lanes perfectly, and didn't have to put something in my hands try to hook the whole lane. The Top Thrill Solid matched up so welI. I used it for all three games during league.
I have other non Motiv balls I take to the multiple leagues I bowl on. However when I'm struggling and I need a answer to get back to putting up strikes on score sheet. I reach for my Motiv equipment ( Trident Abyss, Forge Ember, Pride Empire, Top Thrill {Solid & Pearl} .

It’s an amazing ball and I love that this ball doesn’t get a lot of belt marks on it! This is the ball you want to use when the lanes a bone dry but when they are dry this baby strikes!
