The Trident Quest is the culmination of extensive cover stock research conducted to create a violent and angular response to friction.  Perfectly tuned for medium-heavy oil conditions, the asymmetric pearl Trident Quest is a remarkably aggressive ball.

The asymmetric Turbulent™ weight block is at the center of the Trident Quest.  While other weight blocks were tested, this Turbulent™ design proves to be the most versatile with drillings and demonstrates impressive agility at the backend of the lane.

But what really sets the new Trident Quest performance apart is new Hexion™ Reactive cover stock.  It represents the latest technology from Motiv®.  This fast response skid-flip shell slips easily through the front of the lane to deliver an incredibly violent backend snap.

The Trident Quest is tuned at the factory for medium-heavy oil with a 5000 Grit LSP finish, but the dark purple and blue pearl cover can easily be scuffed to provide traction in heavier volumes of oil.

    Incredible

The best asymmetric pearl I have ever thrown. If I need a ball that's strong enough to corner from no matter where I throw it I grab this one.

    It's also beautiful ;)

    Trident Quest

Absolutely love the Trident Quest! I have been throwing this ball for two months and have consistently shot around 700 plus every week, and recently shot a 300 with this ball. The ball motion is very controllable with great continuation thru the pins. This one fits right below the Jackal Ghost in my arsenal.

    I'm Motivated

I have had my Trident Quest for 3 weeks now and have seen my average go up 9 pins in one league and 16 pins in a second league. After missing bowling because of back problems for over 3 years, I shot my first 700 series tonight and saw my son shoot his first 600 series after a 4 year absence from bowling after giving up his youth bowling to join an adult league with me. We both love our balls and I can see myself purchasing many more Motiv balls in the future.

    Great Ball

I picked up my Quest last week. Box finish, first five games were 243 238 278 241 and 255. It reads the lanes earlier than I thought it would but has incredible continuation. Break point at 35' and crushes the pins.....

    Staying MOTIVated in VA

    Review:
The Trident Quest features a new cover stock from Motiv. It is a new development to help the ball glide through the front part of the lane then provide increased friction in the back. The new Hexion cover really increases entry angle. The Turbulent Weight block paired with this shell creates a very strong Asymmetric ball. The Quest gives bowlers a good amount of hook that is angular with a reliable motion. I took this ball to a tournament recently, (the Hoinke) where the center part of the lane is dry and outside of 7 was out of bounds. I was able to move deeper even with my lower rev rate and carry the 10 pin easily. I am right handed. The Quest fits above my Original purple Paranoia and under my Ghost in my lineup. The Quest was a rare occurrence where a Motiv ball actually hooked less than I expected. I guess since I know how strong the original Trident is, I was expecting a lot of total boards. This shows how much a cover can change ball motion even on the same core. I have drilled a good number of these now with all styles having good success. I have been very happy with how well it fits the game of the higher rev players. It seems that this is an Asymmetric the rev dominate players in my area can have great success with.
I tested the Quest with box surface and then wet sanded it to 2000. The ball maintained its back end angle with the rougher surface even though it hooked more in total boards. The Quest looks great and will be a great addition to any arsenal.

    Summary:
The Trident Quest gives easy length with strong flip.
This ball is a good fit for any style.
The Quest is very versatile for an Asymmetric Pearl.
The Quest is a powerful match of new core and cover technology.
