Finally, the Venom Shock Pearl (VSP) has arrived! Featuring our new Hexion cover and a dual density weight block, the VSP is the perfect complement to the original solid edition, which is one of the most popular MOTIV balls ever because it is so versatile on light to medium oil.

The Top Gear™ weight block gives the Venom Shock Pearl a low RG and low differential similar to the original solid ball, yet its dual density structure provides a more angular backend motion.

To provide easy length and a fast response to friction, a new Hexion MFP (Medium Friction Pearl) Reactive cover is utilized on the VSP.  At the factory, the Purple Pearl cover stock is tuned with a 5500 Grit LSP finish to boost the performance attributes of MOTIV’s Hexion technology.

Rev dominant bowlers will be pleased to find great length and angle from the Venom Shock Pearl.  Similarly, bowlers currently using the solid edition will now have an outstanding complementary ball for that third game when the oil pattern is broken down.

    Excellent Versitle and Dependable

This ball may be my favorite ball from Motiv. I’ve thrown it on different amounts of oil and for different lengths of time and it just never lets me down and I never seem to not know what it’s going to do. I can play multiple angles consistently with it, and it drives through pins almost as well as my Ghost does.

    Venom Shock Pearl

This was the first Motiv ball I got and a month later I shot my first 300 with it. I think it’s one of the best balls Motiv made.

    A must have benchmark ball!!!

This ball is a must have in every Motiv fan's arsenal. Clean through the heads, responsive in the mid lane, and plenty of flip off the corner. I drilled mine pin up 45 x 5 x 45. When the house shot starts to break down, this is my go to ball. Very predictable off the hand.

About Me I feel my style is similar to Wes Mallot's. I am 6ft 5in tall bowler. Rev dominant (325 rpm), medium ball speed (15.5 mph off hand, 14.5 at break, and 13.5 at pins), Pap is 5 7/8's 1 inch up. I have one 300 back when it was harder to get them in AB

Great for length when your Shock or Recoil is checking up in game 2

I love how this ball hang and bangs. Great ball for a dryer house shot. Or if your house puts more oil down, great for transition during/after pattern breaks down. Being a medium speed rev dominant bowler, I love this ball on various patterns.

    House Shot:
    Forza SS
    Recoil
    VSP
    Tribal fire
    Covert Tank

Balls that don't leave my bag or arsenal for events where I do not know the pattern are:
    Talon
    Cruel Intent
    Havoc
    OG Paranoia
    Recoil
    VSP
    Tag
    Tribal Fire
    Covert Tank
    OG Tank

    Venom Shock Pearl

When I ordered this ball, I was a little concerned with it listed as a light to medium oil ball, but I should not have been worried at all. This ball moves on fresh as well as when the pattern breaks down. With my layout and axis tilt this ball carries better on high flush hits. It has plenty of angle when it hits the friction. I have played this ball from 5 to 12 and can find the pocket. The Venom Shock Pearl is the most consistent ball in my arsenal. It is the only Motiv ball I own, but won't be the last.
