10/24/2023Product Jackal GhostBy Harry NelsonFrom Omaha NeJackal Ghost
My first Motiv ball was the Jackal Flash a few years ago. A couple of months after purchase I bowled my highest single, and highest series. The next season my average was slightly higher. After taking a couple years off I decided to bowl as a sub on my wife's league. Deciding to get a new ball, I decided, for several reason, to get the Jackal Ghost. Picked it up on Saturday October 21. Used it on Sunday October 22.
I decided to write say that I believe the ball is defective. I only bowled 105 PINS OVER AVERAGE!!!?.
I noticed on the first roll that this ball hit the pins hard and seemed to go through even harder than the initial contact. I throw an average of 17 to 18mph. The other team was happy I got a new ball, but was soon telling me to STOP THAT!!
after stringing several marks in a row. ?
The pro shop also explained to me that while many balls get retired after a couple years the Jackal Ghost is still going strong.
I can definitely see why.
For context my average before bowling with it was 151. (453 series)
Using it I bowled
178
210
170
558 series 105 pins over average.
Thank you MOTIV for making a great ball.
Highly recommending to anyone who asks.

The ball is a must have for any serious bowlers arsenal. Tried many balls over the years the Jackal Ghost is the best I have found for oily conditions.

09/20/2023Product Jackal GhostBy DarianFrom Farmington, MinnesotaStrong, Solid, Smooth ball!,
Got this ball back when it first came out and I loved it. extremely smooth and reliable reaction down lane. I would even start with this ball in leagues sometimes and just ball down once it starts getting too strong. I took a break starting in 2019 and just started back up this year and it's still a great ball even after just sitting in my bag for years. It is so reliable and I see myself getting another when this one just starts to die on me.
As I look to update my bag more and more, I will only be looking at Motiv!I would recommend this to a friend

09/08/2023Product Jackal GhostBy RGFrom Dayton, OHAbout Me 200-something average bowlerGreat ball when there is oil
I've had this ball since its release and it's still the first ball I throw most league nights. On patterns where there is very little oil outside and my breakpoint is around the 5 board, I find the ball tends to run out too early and leaves flat tens every shot. When I move my line in to break in heavier oil on those patterns, the ball carries well. It's not the most versatile ball for dry conditions but it breaks well in the oil, which is why I bought this ball and have been using it almost every night.
Bottom line: if you tend to roll on drier patterns then this is not the ball for you, but if you have heavier you can play, then this ball lives up to the "heavy oil" designation.I would recommend this to a friend
