MOTIV® has produced some of the greatest solid reactive bowling balls in the world. They create aggressive traction in oil yet retain energy for explosive continuation down lane, and that’s not easy to do.  Those impressive characteristics have been refined and tuned for medium oil to deliver the solid Ripcord™ Flight.  

Continuing with the dual-density Oblivion™ core to provide length and create angle, the Sky Blue Ripcord™ Flight features Turmoil™ Max Solid Reactive cover stock.  This modified version of the cover used on the Venom Shock handles slightly more oil volume and is tuned with a 3000 Grit LSS factory finish.

    Balls it pars good with

    I have the Jackal Ghost and it is such a great ball often the first out of the bag. On our fresh house shot I can get about 8 to sometimes 18 frames out of it and it starts doing that over under stuff and won't carry because it can't blend the broken down lane. But the Flight has so much more control. Normally I step about 2 boards right on my approach of where I am throwing my Ghost then roll the Flight down the same shot, then I am right back in the groove every pocket hit is carrying again. I love this ball and had 700s and even a 298 with it. It is a great ball that pairs great with the Ghost.

    Rip Cord Flight

    I switched from the Hammer Jig Saw to the RipCord Flight. I’m bowling more consistently now and my average has gone up from 170’s to the 190’s
    This is now my ball of choice. Very impressed with Motiv and I am already looking for my next one.

    Love this ball

    I traded the Fatal Venom that was given to me for this ball and a VIP Affliction. I have had it a few months and used it several times it always has great pin action. But the last few weeks I have really started to use it a lot more. I am around a 190 bowler and last night had my highest game ever. I rolled a 298 with this ball. I have had 2 700's with this ball also now. It is quickly becoming a benchmark ball in my bag. I love the VIP too and of course my first Motiv ball the Jackal Ghost. This is a perfect ball when the lanes are a medium oil or beat up a little bit. It has a consistent roll that is easy to keep in the pocket.

    Wow factor!

    When the Venom Shock isn’t enough. I tend to go with this ball. I rarely use it since it took a while to get use to, but after putting in my bag last week. I gave it a chance and ended up using all three games in league. Carried well and rolled well. I will keep this ball in my bag more often and use it more often now!

    Benchmark ball

    I bowl on wood lanes with 14’ guardian. This is my benchmark ball. Predictable, consistent and with continuation…it’s perfect! I own the following supplements: Fear, Forge Fire, Lethal Paranoia and Thrill. Will add Jackal Flash, Pride and Ripcord Velocity soon. Call me a lumberjack because I’m carving up wood lanes like Paul Bunyan!
