MOTIV® has produced some of the greatest solid reactive bowling balls in the world. They create aggressive traction in oil yet retain energy for explosive continuation down lane, and that’s not easy to do.  Those impressive characteristics have been refined and tuned for medium oil to deliver the solid Ripcord™ Flight.  

Continuing with the dual-density Oblivion™ core to provide length and create angle, the Sky Blue Ripcord™ Flight features Turmoil™ Max Solid Reactive cover stock.  This modified version of the cover used on the Venom Shock handles slightly more oil volume and is tuned with a 3000 Grit LSS factory finish.

“For years, our pro tour staff has asked for a ball to compliment the Venom Shock when it can’t create enough angle or combat the volume on the lane.  The Ripcord Flight is exactly that ball.     This ball provides the best down and in roll for most shots. Definitely a benchmark ball!

    The only reason this ball is called the Flight is you will see your scores Soar! This is a Benchmark Ball that Everyone Needs in Your Bag! Perfect for the typical House shot! The angular motion is a great power curve! Honestly, this ball is a Lefties Dream Ball! If you don't have this ball in your Arsenal, you better hurry! Check in your baggage, give them your Boarding Pass, Buckle up in your seat, and get ready to Take Flight!

    My BENCHMARK ball

    The Rip Cord Flight is my benchmark. I had the Venom Shock first and got a couple of other MOTIV pieces which are all great. But the Rip Cord Flight gives me that read that I need so I know where to play or what to play. A lot of times the Rip Cord Flight is all I need for my league night. It's right in the middle of their ball chart for a reason. I am pretty up the back with my roll, so I need a ball that doesn't read too early and had good down lane motion. The Rip Cord Flight is that ball. If you're looking for a first ball to try from MOTIV, this is the one.

    Best ball I have thrown in a long time

    Low rev player here who bought this ball to be a compliment/benchmark ball to my more aggressive ones like the abyss and flash, it has really become my go to for all 3 games. I can keep a pretty consistent, smooth shot throughout the night. In the 5 weeks since I drilled up the Ripcord Flight, my average has seen a substantial bump. I feel like this ball was "flying" under the radar due to its release timing but so happy I gave it a try.

    Great ball

    The Ripcord Flight is my go to ball on house shot or light oil. Very predictable motion and easy to read down lane. Will be adding another to the bag soon.
