04/21/2024Product Crimson JackalBy Mark LondonFrom Dubuque, IowaAbout Me Motiv StafferWide variety of shapes gets wider
In my time as a Motiv staffer, I've enjoyed the wide variety of shapes in the line from smooth to sharp. The Crimson Jackal increases the sharp end of the scale with help of the Propulsion HV+ Pearl cover. The backend shape allows me to get deeper without fear of losing angle. And we all know what the Predator V2 asym core can do, so this ball is a great add to the line. Great on heavy oil or tighter backends. 4.5x0 pap, 265rpm, 15mph, 60x5x40

04/18/2024Product Crimson JackalBy Dan WilliamsFrom Sunbury, OhioMy favorite
My absolute favorite ball so far. I'm a backup bowler. It's easily raised my average a good 30-40. Kinda sad my local place's ball return has taken divots out of mine. Might just have to buy another one!

04/05/2024Product Crimson JackalBy ZACK BROWNFrom Raleigh, NCAbout Me Motiv StaffGreat Shiny Ball
The Crimson Jackal’s design intent was to be angular in heavier volumes of oil. As a balanced bowler, I feel like Motiv nailed it! While this ball isn’t really the first ball out of my bag, it does play a vital roll in ball #2 or ball #3 after the lanes begin to opens up and it allows me to continue to strike. I feel like this ball performs well on house patterns that aren’t super cliffed and many medium challenge and sport patterns.

03/24/2024Product Crimson JackalBy Chad ReifferFrom Rockford, MIAbout Me Motiv staff from West MIJackal GOAT?
The next success story in the best Assym product line on the market! The Crimson Jackal may be my favorite looking Jackal for shelf appeal and certainly sets a new standard for performance from a Pearl assymetrical ball.
I have drilled two Crimson Jackals:
40x5x70 pin down 1000 grit
60x5x40 pin up out of box (light scuff to crack the surface)
The pin down crimson with surface is nearly as strong as my Jackal Ghost with the same layout and maybe creates a bigger footprint in the lane. The pin up shiny Crimson Jackal is my favorite, with a much stronger shape than the previous Pride Empire, which was the last Pearl Assym I had used.
Based on my success, my wife drilled a Crimson Jackal and it has worked great for her lower speed rev dominant style. For my higher speed/high rev style, I can create incredible angle with the Crimson Jackal, even on heavier fresher oil patterns.I would recommend this to a friend

03/13/2024Product Crimson JackalBy Eric GeorgeFrom Cold Spring MNAbout Me Motiv StaffBest Pearl Jackal to date
Once again Motiv improved on a pearl version of the Jackal! By far the Cleanest Asymmetric that Motiv offers in their current lineup. I broke the cover with a used 2000 pad because it was a couple feet too clean out of the box for my liking. The Predator V2 wrapped in the Propulsion HV Pearl makes the corner with ease without loosing hitting power from any part of the lane. Once the lane starts to break down this is my go-to right after the Ambush or the Raptor Fury. Another great purpose-built ball form Motiv.
