12/29/2017Product Lethal ParanoiaBy Nate GarciaFrom Indianapolis, IndianaAbout Me Motiv Nationals Staff MemberHave you ever seen a ball this Lethal?!
We have the new Lethal Paranoia Motiv fans! Wrapped with the new Hexion Coverstock, the new Lethal Paranoia provides players with a very clean, controllable, and angular ball reaction. This ball is a great option when players have to open up there angles and get a ball to get further down the lane, but still have that recovery when the lanes are dryer.
Compared to the Chronic Paranoia, you see a cleaner and more response to friction ball out of the Lethal Paranoia. The chronic is a great option to control the beginning of the block and to keep angles pretty close to you, but when it's time to get left and she'll down to a ball that's cleaner and comes off of the friction better, the lethal is the ball to go to.
This ball has come in to play many times for me and has been a go to option when I'm fishing around and trying to find a line from inside. Hopefully you all enjoy this ball as much as I have!I would recommend this to a friend

This ball is the best ball I've laid my hands on. Last night I bowled 234, 277, and a 249 for a 760 in our high school match. This ball is great to have in your arsenal.

REACTION
Simply put, the Lethal Paranoia is long and angular. Motiv has never produced a ball with this much length and back end reaction. This ball is extremely clean through the heads with an incredibly fast response to friction. The Hexion™ technology that is being used in our new covers has been remarkable in creating shapes we previously didn't have. The Lethal Paranoia gives a look on medium oil we haven't had. With the Lethal, I am able to play steeper angles while maintaining hitting power through the pins.

COMPARISONS
The equipment used in comparison to the Lethal Paranoia were the Trident Quest, Original Paranoia, and the Octane Carbon. I took all the covers to 5500 polished to have a baseline for comparison. As predicted, the Lethal Paranoia is longer than all of the others with the fastest response to friction. In the video you will be able to see Quest, Paranoia, and Octane all read the lane earlier than the Lethal Paranoia. The Quest and original Paranoia have rounder shapes than the Lethal. While the Carbon has somewhat similar length to the Lethal, it is significantly weaker off the spot. If one were bowling in a longer format tournament and were to match up with the Trident Quest on the fresh, progression to the Lethal Paranoia through the transition and down to the Octane Carbon on the burn would be seamless.
SUMMARY
The Lethal Paranoia follows in the footsteps of the Trident Quest when it comes to the shape progression of Motiv. We have made strides in the length and angularity department with the new Hexion™ technology. I am quite pleased with the shim that comes with these covers. The Lethal Paranoia gets to the spot without any early grab before peeling off the spot. In the past, I have struggled with faster response covers. I prefer to keep my angles shallow and play more up the lane. Well, at least I did. Since bowling with these Hexion™ covers I have a 300 (Lethal Paranoia) and a 300/827 (Trident Quest). These new covers have changed my take on faster response covers.

11/08/2017Product Lethal ParanoiaBy Adam ChaseFrom North Babylon, NYLethally Angular
If you want a medium oil ball that has devastating backend, THIS IS THE ONE! It wowed me the first time I threw it. The angularity in the backend is quite astonishing. The Hybrid Version of the new Hexion coverstock is where it is at! This ball is not only angular but super clean through the front part of the lane. Even the driest of lanes can't handle this lethal paranoia. The ball also takes well to surface change so if you want a little earlier roll, don't be afraid to take the polish off of this. This ball is really clean at any cover surface.
