Review:
The New Lethal Paranoia by Motiv has already created a ton of excitement and it hasn’t even been released yet! The Lethal Paranoia is a beautiful looking black/grey ball with fantastic logo colors. This ball uses the Dual Density Oblivion core from the Paranoia line but wraps it in the new Hexion cover for length and increased angle of entry. The Original Purple Paranoia was strong and angular but the Lethal takes this motion to another level. The Lethal is super clean through the front part of the lane and when it hits friction it snaps hard. The continuation on this ball is outstanding. There is even a louder “smack” sound when it hits the pins. Even with my low rev rate I saw most of my shots with this ball splitting the 8 and 9 pin. As in the case with most Motiv balls I throw, the Lethal hooked more than I expected. If you find some dry area to the right (for right handers) this ball will recover. The Lethal will be great on a house shot or when you need to move deep any still create angle. The Lethal Paranoia is also a great ball to ball down to when your Quest is too strong. The Lethal fits right between my Quest and Carbon in hook. I used the Lethal Paranoia mostly with the box surface but it sands nicely as well. I used a 1500 pad and a 3000 pad and felt a very high wet sad like 3000 or 4000 still maintains the intent of the ball and may even out the break point somewhat. This is one of the nicest combinations of core and cover I have seen. I have not had the chance to pass this one around much yet, but I am sure it will not disappoint. The early reviews I have seen are very, very good. The Lethal Paranoia will be a good league or tournament ball.
Summary:
The Lethal Paranoia is super clean then
finishes with a nice flip in the back.
The color is eye catching and looks great.
The entry angle provides a great carry percent.
