MOTIV® has produced some of the greatest solid reactive bowling balls in the world. They create aggressive traction in oil yet retain energy for explosive continuation down lane, and that’s not easy to do.  Those impressive characteristics have been refined and tuned for medium oil to deliver the solid Ripcord™ Flight.  

Continuing with the dual-density Oblivion™ core to provide length and create angle, the Sky Blue Ripcord™ Flight features Turmoil™ Max Solid Reactive cover stock.  This modified version of the cover used on the Venom Shock handles slightly more oil volume and is tuned with a 3000 Grit LSS factory finish.

    This Is Your Captain Speaking, It Is Time To Take Flight!

    Oh Man! This Ball Is Tooooo Sweeeeet! This Ball Allowed Me To Play A Bit Inside From Game 1 And Out. Simple, Smooth And Great Continuation Through The Pins. Definitely A Great Go To Benchmark Ball. I Was Able To Shoot My Highest Series Of 834 With This Ball Straight Off The Press! Had The WrightFit And All! Will Be Looking Into Another One Pin Down As The Current One I Have Is Pin Above In The Middle Which Tends To Be My Favorite Layout For These Motiv Pieces. #StayMotivated #BowlieveInMotiv

    Perfect benchmark companion to the Shock!

    The MOTIV Ripcord Flight is an AMAZING companion to the Venom Shock!

    The Flight will handle a bit more oil and turn the corner a little better when you need to play a bit deeper. The Oblivion core along with the Turmoil Max Solid cover is a great combination and will allow you to play a lot of angles with this ball!

    Polish it up for added length or leave it at box finish for a great benchmark piece. You definitely need this in your bag!

    Time to take flight!

    As we finally come back from the COVID break I have finally got a chance to throw some of my new rocks. Let's chat about the new ripcord flight. For me, I drilled mine 40x4x70. So for me its pin under the middle finger with no hole. I have a shock drilled the exact same layout. So to me, the flight feels cleaner upfront and more responsive downlane than the shock that people love to compare it to. Overall strength they are very similar just different shapes to me. Really great compliments to each other.

    So...all I have to say right now is Wow!! Do not let the attractive light blue color fool you...this ball really surprised me with it's ability to read and pick up the mid lane on both sport and house patterns. I truly was 7 and and 4 left of where I thought I would be with this gem. I have a 55 x 4 3/4 x 40 layout in it and once I got left enough the shape and carry was tremendous. I suggest that anyone looking for a good benchmark ball try this one out.

    Ripcord flight - Awesome benchmark ball

    This ball was amazing from the first time I threw it down the lane! It really fits perfectly into “the middle” of my arsenal making it a great benchmark ball. The dual density weight block (Oblivion core) with the Turmoil Max Solid Reactive cover gives this ball the perfect amount of traction and backend I look for in that part of my arsenal. It fits many type of shots from tournaments to leagues and a ball you will want in your bag!
